Food & Beverage
Club KXX Cocktail Server
The successful candidate will be working in Albuquerque’s newest entertainment and nightclub venue—the KXX Nightclub. KXX cocktail servers will be responsible for providing friendly, courteous and enthusiastic customer service in support of the food and beverage areas within KXX Nightclub and the Food & Beverage Department. KXX’s employees will be expected to maintain a professional attractive appearance in compliance with dress code and grooming expectations.
Johnny Rockets Assistant Manager
Under the supervision of the Johnny Rockets Manager, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide a clean and safe beverage and food area for patrons and casino employees. Incumbent will: Plan and schedule personnel to cover designated shifts, Interview, hire, discipline and discharge employees as necessary.
Ensure proper training for assigned personnel, open and close line operations during operating hours, monitor food and drinks in assigned stations to ensure adequate supply, oversee methods, procedures and practices used in the retention and storage of food, ensure that proper temperature requirements are maintained at all food prep and holding areas, pre-plan and recommend the ordering of supplies, equipment and other material and may meet and talk with sales representatives and work with Shipping and Receiving to ensure the correct delivery of inventory, ensure that workers and patrons are in compliance with health and safety standards and regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED certification, three (3) years experience in a restaurant or food service capacity, knowledge of Casino purchasing requirements and regulations desirable, Supervisory experience required.Main Street Kitchen Manager
Under supervision of the Main Street Manager, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide an entertaining environment that’s clean and safe for patrons and casino employees. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino Hotel.
Johnny Rockets FDR
FDR will interact with customers by providing excellent customer service, prepare food products, re-stock shelves with items, maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards, and assist in all areas where needed. HS Diploma/GED required, some experience in fast food environment and cash handling preferred. This position is located at the Route 66 Casino Hotel.
Food Server
Attend to restaurant patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route
66 Casino.Lead Cook
Under general supervision of the Restaurant/Kitchen Supervisor the incumbent will assist in the preparation of menus, food set-up, service and line cooking. The incumbent will also perform activities in support of the Food and Beverage Department Rt. 66 Casino.
Prep Cook
Under general supervision of the Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Supervisor, performs activities in support of the food preparation activities for one of the restaurants operated by Laguna Development Corporation.
Cook
Under general supervision of the Main Street Kitchen Supervisor, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of menus, food set-up, service and line cooking. The incumbent will also perform activities in support of the Food and Beverage Department at the Rt66 Casino Hotel.
Kitchen Supervisor
The incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide a clean and safe beverage and food area for patrons and casino employees.
Utility
Under the direct supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor, cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other service ware. Sets up, operates and cleans, dish machine or related equipment.
Franchise Operations Manager (Open until filled)
Under supervision of the Chief of Food and Beverage, the incumbent is responsible for successful overall coordination, administration and direction of all Franchise Restaurant Operations and activities at the Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) properties and adhere to food standards control.
Bartender
Under general supervision performs activities in support of the Beverage Service/Poker Room Bar/Theater within the casino operations. Responsible for providing friendly, excellent service to every customer that approaches the bar. Prepares and pours drinks for customers and cocktail servers.
Beverage Server
Under general supervision of the Assistant Beverage Manager, performs activities in support of the large beverage areas within the casino.
Bingo Snack Bar Cashier/Food Prep
Under supervision of the Bingo Snack Bar Supervisor, the incumbent will independently performs a variety of duties and to ensure a safe and efficient operation. To implement and carry out our mission statement and Core Values to all employees.
Employee Dining Room Counter
Under direct supervision of the EDR Supervisor, incumbent will independently perform a variety of duties and ensures a safe and efficient operation. To implement and carry out our mission statement and Core Values to all employees. This vacancy will be used for various locations throughout Laguna Development Corporation.
Banquet Server
Under the supervision of the Banquet Captain, the incumbent will attend to banquet patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino banquet facilities.
Banquet Set up Crew
Under the supervisor of the Banquet Captain, the incumbent is responsible for set and break down of tables and chairs for all Banquet events.
Banquet Captain
Under the supervisor of the Banquet Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring Banquet function run according to specification and that superior guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained by the Banquet Team.
Dairy Queen Cashier/Food Prep
Under the supervision of the QSR Shift Manager, the incumbent independently performs a variety of duties in the food and beverage area to meet the profitable needs of the Franchisee by properly merchandising a high quality, consistent product to meet the retail customers’ needs. Incumbent will also be responsible to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Casino
Cage Cashier
Under direct supervision of Lead Cashier, incumbent will work with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the RT66 Casino. Works at all times to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.
Custodian
Supervision under the direction of Custodial Supervisor performs the duties necessary to provide a clean working environment. Perform the overall custodial functions and cleanliness of the casino and related facilities, including heavy cleaning, in accordance with the management directives.
Slot Host
Under the supervision of the Slot Supervisor, under limited supervision, this individual will work with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the Slot Department. Works to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.
Slot Technician
Under general supervision of the Slot Lead Tech, the Slot Technician will work with the Lead Technician to maintain the upkeep of slot machines and to fulfill the goals and objectives to ensure a consistent and professional image in the Slot Department. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino.
Surveillance Agent
Under supervision of the Surveillance Supervisor, the incumbent will use audio and video equipment to observe and report illegal and non-procedural compliance or violations of Route 66 Casino polices and procedures.
Player’s Club Lead
Under the direction of the Players Club Supervisor, assists in the development of a player-tracking system. Issue and print players club cards to new members as well as issue player coupons to players according to policy and guidelines. Coordinate and train Player Club personnel. Must have strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. Should withstand the test of difficult customers with unreasonable demands. Make PA announcements. Type reports, correspondence or other materials. Exhibit a strong commitment to LDC and its policies.
Player’s Club Representative
Under the direction of the Players Club Supervisor, provides day-to-day support of the Player Card Center, promotional and special events. The ability to generate excitement and provide personal attention to customers. Distributing promotional items (e.g. coupons, gifts, or generic player cards). Introducing and promoting the Player’s Club, its benefits, and how to join. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Part-Time Table Games Dealer
Under direct supervision from the Floor Supervisor and while working with management to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Table Games Department.Accurately deals the game of Black Jack, Craps and or Roulette. Provides outstanding customer service. Maintains awareness of game situations and players at all times.
Shuttle Driver (Temporary)
Under the supervision of the Valet/Shuttle Manager, the incumbent provides transportation to and from the Rt. 66 Travel Center and the Route 66 Casino Hotel.
Retail
Retail Clerk
Under the supervision of the C-Store Assistant Manager, the incumbent independently performs a variety of duties in the Convenience Store and ensures a safe and efficient operation. This position will be located at the Rt. 66 Travel Center Convenience Store in Rio Puerco. Position requires ability to deal effectively with the general public and travel center staff, make accurate cash transactions, must be able to work all different shifts including weekends and holidays, knowledge of cash register, basic reading and writing skills, and must have excellent customer service skills.
Administrative
IT Network Administrator
The Network Administrator must perform analysis of network needs and contributes to the design of network architecture, integration, and installation. Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots local area networks and wide area networks to assure continuity of service. Monitors and maintains network stability. Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users. Prepares and maintains documentations of network configurations and cabling layouts. Installs and maintains LAN/WAN hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring. Experience in Solar Winds, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Systems, Cisco routing and switching, and Cisco WISM wireless infrastructure is required.
Hotel
Bell/Valet Attendant
Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager and Bell Captain, the Bell/Valet Attendant is responsible for welcoming the guests and offers a wide variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, providing guest information, valet parking and luggage transfer services while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations. The Bell/Valet Attendant works to achieve exceptional guest service as the minimum standard. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Laguna Development’s policies and procedures, internal controls and objectives.
Housekeeper
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager and Leads, the Housekeeper is responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness in the hotel guest rooms and public areas. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning hotel guest rooms and public areas, hotel hallways and storage rooms. The Housekeepers primary responsibility is to ensure that an exceptional level of cleanliness is achieved and maintained in all areas while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations. Work to achieve exceptional guest service as the minimum standard. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Laguna Development’s policies and procedures, internal controls and objectives.
Night Auditor (Open 06/19/09 – 06/26/09)
Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the Night Auditor welcomes guests and offers a variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, check in and check out, posting charges, and performing the end of day balancing and night audit procedures. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Laguna Development’s policies and procedures, internal controls and objectives. Follows the established and implemented standards and procedures to ensure the highest level of guest service. Handles all guest requests, complaints or service recovery issues in a prompt and professional manner. Requests supervisor assistance when needed.
While performing the duties of most of these positions, employees are regularly required to stand for long periods of time on their feet, walk, use hands, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. These positions also require exposure to second hand smoke, dust or fumes, and illness such as influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Adequate vision is required on most positions. Employees must be able to work flexible or odd hour work schedules, including evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.
