Food & Beverage

Beverage Entertainment Manager

Under supervision of the Chief of Food & Beverage, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide an entertaining environment that’s clean and safe for patrons and casino employees. This position will be located at Route 66 Casino.

KXX Night Club Manager

Under supervision of the Director of F&B Operations, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide an entertaining environment that’s clean and safe for patrons and casino employees.

Club KXX Supervisor

Under supervision of the KXX Assistant Manager, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide a clean and safe beverage and food area for patrons and casino employees.

KXX Host

This position reports to the Club manager. Attends to Club patrons by greeting, directing and assisting them when asked. Helps control traffic to ensure that we are on compliance with capacity and fire codes. Assist Casino security with ID verification, collection of cover charge and enforcement of Dress Code. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino.

Club KXX Bartender

Under general supervision performs activities in support of the Beverage Service, KXX Night Club and within the casino operations. Responsible for providing friendly, excellent service to every customer that approaches the bar. Prepares and pours drinks for customers and cocktail servers.

Club KXX Barback

Under general supervision of the KXX Supervisor performs activities in support of the Beverage Service, KXX Night Club and within the casino operations. Cleans and stocks areas around the beverage delivery areas.

Club KXX Cocktail Server

The successful candidate will be working in Albuquerque’s newest entertainment and nightclub venue—the KXX Nightclub. KXX cocktail servers will be responsible for providing friendly, courteous and enthusiastic customer service in support of the food and beverage areas within KXX Nightclub and the Food & Beverage Department. KXX’s employees will be expected to maintain a professional attractive appearance in compliance with dress code and grooming expectations.

Beverage Manager

Under supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide an entertaining environment that’s clean and safe for patrons and casino employees. This position will be located

Johnny Rockets Cook

Under general supervision of the Restaurant Lead Cook/Supervisor, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of menus, food set-up, service and line cooking. The incumbent will also perform activities in support of the Food and Beverage Department.

Johnny Rockets Food Server

Attend to restaurant patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino.

Rt. 66 Travel Center Restaurant Cook

Under general supervision of the Restaurant/Kitchen Supervisor or the Lead Cook, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of menus, food set-up, service and line cooking

Rt. 66 Travel Center Restaurant Food Servers

Attend to restaurant patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route 66 Travel Center Restaurant.

Rt. 66 Travel Center Restaurant Kitchen Manager

Under supervision of the Route 66 F&B Travel Center Operations Manager, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide an entertaining environment that’s clean and safe for patrons and employees. This position will be located at the Route 66 Travel Center Restaurant.

Rt. 66 Travel Center Restaurant Kitchen Supervisor

Under supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor, the incumbent supervises, directs and/or performs activities designed to provide a clean and safe beverage and food area for patrons and casino employees.

Cook

Under general supervision of the Restaurant/Kitchen Supervisor or the Lead Cook, the incumbent will assist in the preparation of menus, food set-up, service and line cooking.

Prep Cook

Under general supervision, performs activities in support of the food preparation activities for one of the restaurants operated by Laguna Development Corporation.

Host

Attends to restaurant patrons by greeting, taking, receiving beverage, and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assists patrons with all their dining needs.

Cashier

Independently performs a variety of duties and ensures a safe and efficient operation. To implement and carry out our mission statement and Core Values to all employees. This vacancy will be used for various locations throughout the Rio Puerco.

Food Servers

Attend to restaurant patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino.

Beverage Servers

Under general supervision performs activities in support of the large beverage areas within the casino.

Utility

Under the direct supervision, cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other service ware. Sets up, operates and cleans, dish machine or related equipment.

Busser

Under the supervision of the Restaurant Supervisor provide fast, friendly and courteous customer service

Banquet Server (On-Call)

Attend to banquet patrons by greeting, receiving beverage and food orders, relays food orders to the kitchen and delivers completed orders to patrons. Assist patrons with all their dining needs. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino banquet facilities.

Dairy Queen Cashier/Food Prep

Under the supervision of the Manager to Dairy Queen, the incumbent independently performs a variety of duties in the Food area to meet the profitable needs of the Franchisee by properly merchandising a high quality, consistent product to meet the retail customers’ needs. Incumbent will also be responsible to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Rt. 66 Travel Center Assistant C-Store Manager

Under the supervision of the C-Store Manager, the incumbent independently performs a variety of duties in the Convenience Store and ensures a safe and efficient operation. This position will be located at the Rt. 66 Travel Center Convenience Store in Rio Puerco.

Rt. 66 Travel Center C-Store Cashier/Stocker

Under the supervision of the C-Store Assistant Manager, the incumbent independently performs a variety of duties in the Convenience Store and ensures a safe and efficient operation. This position will be located at the Rt. 66 Travel Center Convenience Store in Rio Puerco.

Rt. 66 Casino Gift Shop Clerk

Under general supervision of Management, is responsible for all day-to day sales at the Route 66 Casino Gift Shop.

Casino

Cage Cashier

Under general supervision while working with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the Route 66 Casino. Works at all times to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.

Lead Cashier

Under general supervision while working with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the Route 66 Casino. Works at all times to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.

Main Banker

Under general supervision while working with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the Route 66 Casino. Works at all times to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.

Drop/Count Team Member

Under general supervision of the Drop/Count Team Lead the incumbent performs activities in support of the drop & count operations.

Custodial

Supervision under the direction of Custodial Supervisor performs the duties necessary to provide a clean working environment. Perform the overall custodial functions and cleanliness of the casino and related facilities, including heavy cleaning, in accordance with the management directives.

Valet Attendant

Under the direction of the lead Valet Manager direct, greet, issue parking numbers and information about parking requirements. Responsible for parking vehicles, retrieving cars from designated areas and returns key to guest.

Table Games Dealer

Under general supervision while working with management to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Table Games Department.

Poker Dealer

Under direct supervision of the Poker Floor Supervisor, the Poker Dealer is responsible for working with management to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Poker Room.

Slot Technician

Under general supervision, the Slot Technician will work with the Lead Technician to maintain the upkeep of slot machines and to fulfill the goals and objectives to ensure a consistent and professional image in the Slot Department. This position will be located at the Route 66 Casino.

Slot Host

Under limited supervision, this individual will work with management to fulfill goals and objectives in the Slot Department. Works to ensure a consistent and professional corporate image.

Players Club Representative

Under general supervision of the Players Club Manager will provide day-to-day support of the Player Card Center, promotional and special events.

Security Officer

Under general supervision is responsible for the safety and security of personnel, patrons, building facility, grounds and all other property belonging to Route 66 and patrons. Maintain public relations for Route 66 Casino as prescribed by Laguna Development Corporation, and its designated personnel. Protect against theft, vandalism, fire and illegal entry utilizing proper procedures as determined by the Director of Security.

Surveillance Agent

Under supervision of the Surveillance Supervisor, the incumbent will use audio and video equipment to observe and report illegal and non-procedural compliance or violations of Route 66 Casino polices and procedures.

Shuttle Driver

Under the supervision of the Valet/Shuttle Manager, the incumbent provides transportation to and from the Rt. 66 Travel Center and the Route 66 Casino Hotel.

Administrative

Human Resources Clerk

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager the Human Resources Clerk performs clerical and administrative support activities for the Human Resources Department.

Payroll Clerk

Responsible for timely, and accurate processing of payroll for Laguna Development Corporation.

Facilities

HVAC Technician

Maintain and repair heating and air conditioning systems in the casino; diagnose problems; replace and repair parts.

Outside Maintenance

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent independently performs routine maintenance that may include watering, raking, mowing, weeding, planting, and trash/litter removal. This position will cover all the LDC establishments.

Maintenance Technician

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent independently performs a variety of maintenance and repair duties on mechanical or electrical equipment, machinery, or structure of establishments to ensure a safe and efficient operation. This position will cover all the LDC establishments.

Route 66 Hotel

Front Desk Clerk

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the Front Desk Clerk personally facilitates the guest service experience at the front desk ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations. The Front Desk Clerk welcomes the guests and offers a variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, check in and check out, posting charges, and guest account maintenance.

Central Services Lead

Under the direction of the Central Services Manager, the Central Services Lead personally coordinates all aspects of hotel room reservations and maintains quality telephone service at all times while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations. The Central Services Lead welcomes the guests and offers a variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, coordinating all hotel room reservations and answering and transferring all incoming telephone calls. The Central Services Lead works to achieve exceptional guest service as the minimum standard. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Laguna Development’s policies and procedures, internal controls and objectives.

Housekeeper

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager and Leads, the Housekeeper is responsible for achieving and maintaining an exceptional standard of cleanliness in the hotel guest rooms and public areas. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning hotel guest rooms and public areas, hotel hallways and storage rooms.

Laundry Supervisor

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager, the Laundry Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining a successful laundry operation. The Laundry Supervisors primary responsibility is to ensure that an exceptional level of quality and cleanliness is achieved within the department and maintained in all areas while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations.

Lead Bell Valet

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager and Bell Captain, the Lead Bell Valet is responsible for achieving a successful overall operation of the bell desk and valet related services. The Lead Bell Valet welcomes the guest and offers a wide variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, valet parking, guest information and luggage transfer services while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations. The Lead Bell Valet works to achieve exceptional guest service as the minimum standard. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Laguna Development’s policies and procedures, internal controls and objectives.

Bell/Valet Attendant

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager and Bell Captain, the Bell/Valet Attendant is responsible for welcoming the guests and offers a wide variety of services to accommodate the guests including, but not limited to, providing guest information, valet parking and luggage transfer services while ensuring efficiency, first class service and accommodations.


While performing the duties of most of these positions, employees are regularly required to stand for long periods of time on their feet, walk, use hands, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. These positions also require exposure to second hand smoke, dust or fumes, and illness such as influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Adequate vision is required on most positions. Employees must be able to work flexible or odd hour work schedules, including evening, weekends, and holidays as needed. Laguna Development Corporation has established a minimum educational requirement for all positions of a High School Diploma or a GED.
