KRISTYNA is one of the acclaimed lead singers from New Mexico’s legendary girl group, SPARX, who along with their brother LORENZO ANTONIO, continue the longest-running streak of sell-out concerts in New Mexico history.

KRISTYNA's recordings with SPARX have sold over 2 million records, and along with her sisters she has toured from the uppermost part of the United States to the Southern most country in South America, Argentina.

April 5th will be the first time that KRISTYNA will give a solo performance. When asked, “Why will you be doing a solo performance now?” Her response was: “I have always been a fan of Ranchera singer and movie star YOLANDA DEL RIO, who will be appearing in the same show as me on April 5th. When YOLANDA DEL RIO mentioned that she would like for one of us to appear with her, we accepted the invitation and we decided that I would do the solo performance.”

YOLANDA DEL RIO is one of the most successful ranchera singers to ever emerge from Mexico. She became a star after signing a record contract with RCA Victor, and recording the song “La Hija De Nadie” which within a year sold over a million copies.



She soon made the transition to the big screen with the movie “La Hija De Nadie,” which went on to break box-office records in various theaters, especially in California. Before “La Hija De Nadie,” famous movie stars “Cantinflas” and “Vicente Fernandez” held the record. In many theaters “La Hija De Nadie” still holds first place as the Mexican movie with most assistance to date.

After this, the hits just kept coming and she toured Mexico, The United States, Central America, South America, Italy, France and Spain.

Grammy award nominee, YOLANDA DEL RIO has sold over 20 million records and has starred in many movies. She has received countless awards such as, “The Nipper” (RCA symbol), “El Discometro,” “El Heraldo,” and she was awarded the 2007 Hispanic Heritage Society award for her outstanding career. She has also received multiple Platinum and Gold Records.

The show unfolds Saturday, April 5th at the fabulous Legends Theater at Route 66 Casino and Hotel with a special tribute to mariachi music.

The show will include KRISTYNA appearing with Mariachi together with a solid band that packs punch. It is a must-see event for Spanish music lovers. Rarely will lyrics, arrangements, orchestration, talent, beauty, and a gorgeous voice come together so beautifully as this one time only event for New Mexico that offers a great way to enjoy the music and tradition.
