I wanted to share our experience today (3/6/21) Saturday morning at the Route 66 Casino.
After being in lock-down for nearly a year, I heard a radio ad that the casino was open on a limited basis. My husband is understandably leery of going into public places for an extended amount of time. I showed him all the precautions on the website that your establishment was taking, and told him I wasn’t worried in the least.
He reluctantly indulged me…and both of us were beyond impressed with not only the extensive safety measures, but the amazing staff. From entry, security, floor staff, waitresses and housekeeping–what wonderful, helpful, polite, and pleasant people!!
As smokers, we also greatly appreciate the accommodations that were set up. It is just as well that we couldn’t smoke as we gamed–instead of going through a half pack of cigarettes, we smoked three. Ha!
Everything was immaculate, so clean, and definitely safe. We are former residents of Las Vegas, NV, and the Route 66 experience exceeds many of our old haunts. We can’t wait for our next visit, and thank you heartily for a few hours of escape and normalcy in these trying and dark times.
Please feel free to share this e-mail with staff or other stakeholders. Many congratulations for the most exceptional work!
